For the Fiscal Year 2010, the US Congress provided an appropriation
to the US Fish and Wildlife Service for fisheries and aquatic resource
conservation; of this appropriation funding was designated to conduct
scientific review of the Klamath, North Coast, and Central Valley hatchery
operations in California. The appropriation is being administrated
through Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission (PSMFC).
In November 2010, contractors working with PSMFC and USFWS conducted initial start-up meetings to initiate a review of the Klamath- Trinity region.
